Backpacks and cats

There are 7 girls in a bus
Each girl has 7 backpacks
In each backpack, there are 7 big cats .
For every big cat there are 7 little cats
Question: How many legs are there in the bus?
Scroll down for answer
Answer
10990 legs
My method for solving this was the following:
Girls = 7
BackpacksPerGirl = 7
BigCatsPerBackpack = 7
LittleCatsPerBigCat = 7
TotalBackpacks = Girls x BackpacksPerGirl or 49
BigCats = BigCatsPerBackpack x TotalBackpacks or 343
LittleCats = LittleCatsPerBigCat x BigCats or 2401
GirlsLegs = Girls x 2 legs or 14
plus
BigCatsLegs = BigCats x 4 legs or 1372
plus
LittleCatsLegs = LittleCats x 4 legs or 9604
equals
10990

All added up I got 16662 including the bus driver and I don't muck up calculations and those calculations are wrong

I got 10,990. everyone: good point on bus driver, but since the riddle didn't mention one, (it didn't, right?) i'm assuming that it shouldn't be included in the calculations. Maybe one of the girls drives the bus?

the answer is 2401 because you do 7 times 7 times 7 times 7 times 7 wich equels 2401
