Who would you choose

You are driving down the road on a wild, stormy night, when you pass a bus stop and see three people waiting for the bus:

1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be one passenger in your car?

This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application.

You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you should save her first.
Or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back.
However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.

What would you do?

Give the keys to the old friend, have them drive the old lady to the hospital

Wait for the bus with the partner of my dreams

            I would have the best friend drive the old woman to the hospital and that would leave me to meet my perfect partner.

            Pick up the old lady. Remember to say hi to your old friend before you leave though. Your dreamed partner may be impress by your action and ask your old friend about you, since she knows you guys know each other.

            You drive past them all while looking straight:
            No guilt is placed on you if you ignore all three options. The elderly always die, friends come and go at random, and your perfect partner is waiting for you at home.

            if the man you've been dreaming about is right for you, he will either love that you helped the old woman or fate will bring him back to you.
            if your best friend saved your life, he would not mind that you chose to save someone elses.

            I would save the old lady and ask your friend to take care of your dream partner. Both will admire you and your friendship will be stronger because of it. Should you choose any other person, you demonstrate selfishness for yourself and would possibly lose both. Nothing is more precious than someone's health.

            i would chose my bff cause ha saved my life but then again/ get you bff to drive the old lady to the hospital then buy him a case of beer to say thanks and then you sit next to your perfect partener and sheild her from the storm!!

            I highly agree with Shana.Its the best thing you could do to save a lady's life, repay your best friend & sent the night with the lolve of your life.

            Give the car to my best friend and ask him to take the old lady to the hospital, while i stay back with my perfect partner
